c2c has been forced to alter services to London Fenchurch Street from Shoebury after reports of an "object being caught in overhead wires."
The train operator has altered the 7.18 service to London Fenchurch Street to Shoebury after the reports, with the service now starting at Southend Central and missing Shoebury, Thorpe Bay and Southend East.
Disruption has also impacted the 7.03 service from Southend Central to London Fenchurch Street , which is no longer calling at Southend Central, Westcliff and Chalkwell.
A c2c spokesman added: "Due to an object being caught on the overhead wires earlier today the 7.40 London Fenchurch Street to Pitsea will now be cancelled.
"Apologies for the inconvenience to your journey this morning."
