Drivers facing rush hour traffic on the A13 this morning are having to contend with the aftermath of a crash - which is causing traffic to back up on the major road.
The A13 is partially blocked near the Stanford-le-Hope bypass, with delays being report of more than five minute delays eastbound.
The average speed on the road is being reported at 15mph.
The AA said: "Partially blocked and slow traffic due to crash on A13 Stanford le Hope By Pass Westbound from A132 South Mayne, Pitsea Flyover, to A176 Five Bells Interchange."
